Spirit Travel only use the latest models in our VW camper hire service. We have invested in the world famous Volkswagen Type 2 Rio Classic campers. These are manufactured by VW Brazil and powered by a fuel injected, water-cooled, modern and reliable engine. Electronic ignition, catalytic converter system, front servo assisted disc brakes and rear drum brakes are now also standard.
The Rio Classic features full-length kitchen unit furniture including a stainless steel hob and grill with matching sink, and electric pumped cold water. The metal framed ‘rock‘n’roll’ rear seat (with storage underneath) cleverly converts into an ample double bed in one simple operation. You can walk through from cab area to rear of the vehicle between the front seats and seat four people around a table when camping (with optional buddy seat).
